Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a forward-in-time simulation software that will be used to model the evolution of recombination rate as a complex trait. The candidate will also be encouraged to establish independent lines of research under the broader scope of the lab’s interests. The candidate is expected to have good communication and teamwork skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Ph.D. in evolutionary biology, computational biology, computer science, or a related field at time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in population and/or quantitative genetics is preferred, as is experience in computational biology.
