Position Function:
Responsible for assisting with the various payable functions to include processing of invoices, direct pay vouchers and procurement card transactions.
Salary Grade: 11

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Receives and reviews invoices associated with purchase orders, check requests, and/or other related documentation for completeness and compliance with financial policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
2. Enters invoices into the Bully Buy system for payment;, and makes modifications as necessary.
3. Reviews and approves direct pay requests for compliance with various laws and policies and approve for payment
4. Assist departments with issues pertaining to invoices and payments in Bully Buy.
5. Follows up on account statements and other discrepancies regarding payment of accounts, and serves as liaison
between departments and vendors in the resolution of administrative problems and inquiries.
6. Monitors blanket contracts when attached to direct pays and periodically notifies departments of balances.
7. Assist with auditing and reconciliation of procard charges as needed
8. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Two years of related experience.
Substitution allowed:
Any equivalent combination of related experience and/or education approved by the
Department of Human Resources Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Working knowledge of Banner and Bully Buy.

1. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
2. No or very limited physical effort required.
3. No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
