Assistant or Associate Professor at Mississippi State University on the Meridian Campus. The Division of Education invites applicants for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Doctor of Psychology degree program in Combined Health Services Psychology beginning fall 2024.

Salary Grade:  UC

For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

MSU Offers a PsyD program in Combined Health Services Psychology, with concentrations in Clinical, Counseling and School Psychology. Primary responsibilities will include graduate teaching and advisement; supervision of field experience; providing service and outreach; and clinical work and research in the mental and behavioral health clinic at MSU-Meridian. Faculty also work closely with clinical settings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or a closely related field; eligibility for MS licensure as a psychologist; demonstration of excellence in teaching, research or service (Associate Professor) or demonstration of potential for excellence in these areas (Assistant Professor). ABD's will be considered if the degree will be completed by August 15, 2024. Level of appointment is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with APA accreditation process; minimum of 3 years of experience as a clinical psychologist; experience with teaching at the graduate level; experience with teaching virtually or online.
