Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The new Assistant Clinical Professor will join four other faculty members (two assistant professors and two clinical instructors) on the Small Animal Emergency and ICU clinical service and rotation, with a newly hired board-certified criticalist as well. Service responsibilities involve emergency duty, primary and secondary clinical case management, and consultation with private practitioners. Teaching responsibilities will involve clinical training for veterinary professional students, house officers and veterinary medical technology students enrolled in the academic program. Assistant Clinical Professors will be expected to play a role in enhancing the quality of patient care and teaching in our Emergency/ICU senior veterinary student rotation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Essential qualifications include a DVM or equivalent degree. Applicant must be eligible for licensure in Mississippi.

Teaching and emergency experience is also preferred, but not required.
