The College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University Animal Emergency and Referral Center (AERC) is seeking to hire a Clinical Instructor in Emergency Medicine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching responsibilities will involve didactic and clinical training for veterinary professional students, house officers, and veterinary medical technology students enrolled in the academic program. Service responsibilities involve emergency duty, primary and secondary clinical case management, and consultation with private practitioners. The emergency clinician will be expected to take a leadership role in improving the quality of the AERC emergency service, enhancing the quality of patient care and teaching in our veterinary student rotation, and improving patient care. Participation in continuing education programs is also expected.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent degree, and experience or training as a small animal emergency veterinarian. Teaching experience is preferred.
