Position Function:
Deliver dairy products to campus outlets; assist with cheese making and other dairy processing operations.
Salary Grade: 09

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver dairy products, assist in processing and making cheese. Function as relief in milk packaging operation, processing, and ice cream packaging. As needed, operate tank truck to pick up raw milk. Assist with the packaging and waxing of cheese. Assist with mailing of cheese orders. Assist with the manufacture of processed cheeses and other dairy products. Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: One year of experience operating dairy processing equipment or experience in a closely related field.
Licensure: Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License within 6 months of employment.
Substitution: An equivalent combination of related education and related experience may be considered for this position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to perform simple mathematic calculations.
Ability to read gauges and graphs and record handwritten information daily.
Good communications skills.
Ability to pass drug tests which indicate an absence of illegal controlled substance use.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Work is normally performed in a manufacturing facility.
