Position Function:
Provide day to day management of assigned athletic facilities construction projects. Responsible for obtaining and organizing cost estimates and presenting recommendations on assigned projects. Will serve as the coordinator and liaison with project contractors and project materials vendors. Will consult with and advise athletic department administrators on project progress and budget. Will perform preventative maintenance and enhancements of all premium areas within athletic facilities. As needed, will support and assist athletic facility enhancements staff on repair and maintenance techniques within athletic department facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Recommend and, where applicable, perform facility maintenance, repairs, upkeep, and remodel projects to enhance facility function and appearance
2. Obtain cost estimates from contractors and vendors on assigned projects
3. Compile, organize and submit project cost estimates to supervisors
4. Serve as project coordinator and liaison between athletic department and contractors and vendors
5. Monitor and report project progress to ensure completion timeline and budget are met
6. Game day on-site facility support
7. Perform related duties as assigned by the Senior Assoicate AD for Facility Enhancements and Equipment and Athletics Administration
Supervisory Responsibility
Will have oversight of full-time staff and students, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
- Experience: 3 years in Building Maintenance, Construction, or Related Experience
Substitution allowed for Education:
When a candidate has the required experience, but lacks the required education, they may normally apply additional experience toward the education requirement at a rate of one (1) year of relevant experience per year of required education. Indicated experience is required, no substitution allowed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to work long and irregular hours.
• Excellent organizational, management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Valid Drivers’ License.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Regularly involves lifting, bending or other physical exertion. Often exposed to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. with one to the point of being objectionable. Injuries may require professional treatment.
- Job frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping/kneeling/ crouching/ crawling. Talking. Hearing, handling objects with hands, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Job occasionally requires climbing or balancing and lifting more than 100 pounds.
- Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
