Position Function:
Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Mississippi State University Soccer Office working with the Head, Associate Head, and Assistant Soccer Coaches and Sport Administrator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Plan and manage all team travel including flights, buses, hotels, meals, itineraries, travel rosters, and per diem.
2. Coordinate home and away game logistics and game-day operations.
3. Manage the program’s operating budget, including purchase orders, invoices, reimbursements, and financial tracking.
4. Order, organize, and manage equipment, apparel, laundry, and team gear.
5. Coordinate practice schedules, facility usage, and field space.
6. Support recruiting operations by coordinating official and unofficial visits, managing itineraries, meals, lodging, transportation, and recruiting databases.
7. Assist with planning and execution of camps, clinics, and ID events.
8. Work closely with the compliance office to ensure adherence to NCAA rules, including CARA hours, travel documentation, eligibility paperwork, and recruiting regulations.
9. Serve as the primary communication liaison between coaches, student-athletes, athletic department staff, visiting teams, and external partners.
10. Communicate schedules, updates, and expectations clearly to the team.
11. Support alumni, parents, and donor engagement when appropriate.
12. Reinforce program standards, professionalism, and daily operational excellence.
13. Provide organizational support during high-pressure periods such as travel, competition, and postseason play.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field with one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Athletic Administration.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
• Frequent external imposed deadlines set and revised beyond one’s control; interruptions influence priorities; difficult to anticipate nature or volume of work with certainty beyond a few days; meeting of deadlines and coordination of unrelated activities are key to position; involves conflict-resolution or similar interactions involving emotional issues or stress on a regular basis.
• Job frequently requires walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
