The Program Coordinator for the One Health Graduate Programs will support effective operation, growth, and student success of the Master of Science in One Health and its
associated academic pathways. This is an interdisciplinary program designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills to promote the health of animals, humans, and the environment. The coordinator will be engaged in marketing the programs, recruiting prospective students, advising current and incoming students, and assisting with course management. Specific responsibilities and duties, including the ones delineated below, will be determined annually by the Program Director. This is a part-time position (0.5 FTE).

Salary Grade:  13

Area of Specialization:

CVM Office of Research and Graduate Affairs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Serve as a point of contact for program-related inquiries

· Assist with marketing and recruiting into the program

· Advise graduate students in the program as well as undergraduates interested in the

program

· Monitor student progress in relations to program requirements

· Maintain program records

· Organize program events, including orientation, and outreach activities

· Coordinate meetings with the One Health Advisory Committee

· Assist with course administration

· Assist with program assessment

· Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience (yrs.): Two years experience in a related field

Substitutions: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be
considered for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

· Degree related to animal, human, or environmental health.
· Familiarity with One Health concepts/framework

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Basic computer skills required, including competency in using Microsoft Word, Excel,
and Outlook
· Understanding of graduate education processes
· Good communication skills, both written and oral
· Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with individuals of all
backgrounds
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to learn new skills and workflow processes
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to university policies

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

· No unusual physical requirements. Requires limited lifting of files and records
and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.
· Job frequently requires walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling
objects with hands.
